From Twilight Zone scribe, Charles Beaumont, 'Brain Dead' is a unique and twisted B-movie science fiction chiller that warps into itself to a bizarre reality tale involving Bill Pullman's neurologist investigating the mental health of a mathematician, played by Bud Cort, while scrutinized by a corporate cutthroat by Bill Paxton in a conspiracy outside the scope of reality. The movie does invoke a lot of depth, paranoia, and surprise with the jump cuts and low-grade special effects. A movie for 80's & 90's horror films or fans to both Bill Paxton & Bill Pullman.
