He could date any girl he chose to date until all the girls at Highwood High acted in unison. Every female student promised and vowed not to date Ray Dirks. The girls would no longer be taken for granted. They rebelled. Their plot was to humiliate Ray by teaching him a lesson in humility and making him eat some humble pie. The scheme was successful and Ray Dirks finally changed. Due to their BOYcott of Ray Dirks, his attitude towards his peers, especially the female students changed drastically. The girls forgave him and he became popular again, but this time for a different reason. This fast paced story is much more than Ray Dirks. It is a romantic comedy, which includes the lives and problems of other students.
