Recently deceased, Milard Kaufman nevertheless managed, at the ripe age of 80+ to write his first novel. Like so many other novels, Bowl of Cherries is a coming of age novel, but, like few other novels, the satire is crisp. This book will make you laugh, and beyond that, its well written. Read it.
