That, anyway, is the view one old man has when his farmer son has a nervous breakdown following an auto crash which kills the son's wife and injures him pretty badly. When the "weakling" gets out of the hospital, he has a pretty rough time of it, what with the icy reception his father gives him. However, it is even more difficult for the man's son, who has feared for his father's life.
