Go to a bunch of antique malls, swap meets and flea markets. Buy the most boring looking postcards you can find, the ones that make you say "what were they thinking". Now staple them together so you can flip through them.
Now you'll basically have this book.
It's postcards, period. Yes, they are boring. If you're looking for more than that out of this book, you're going to be disappointed. I was not "wowed" by the book (and yes, I'm a postcard geek), but I did enjoy it. Get it cheap, and you'll enjoy it more. ;-)
