This isn't exactly a bluegrass album, although it comes close, gathering tracks Roy Clark recorded in the 1970s for the Dot and ABC labels that are generally bluegrass in nature. Most of the tracks are from 1973's Roy Clark's Family Album and 1974's Family and Friends, with additional tracks drawn from Clark's two albums with banjo player Buck Trent, 1975's A Pair of Fives (Banjos That Is) and 1978's Banjo Bandits.
