He comes to be General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson's staff minister and is thrust into the company or Rose O'Neal Greenhow, the famous spy. Near the end of the war, Rex finds himself in Andersonville, a notorious Rebel war prison. Located in Fort Sumter, it was known for the death of 100 Union soldiers each day.
