My son read another book in this series and loved it. He's now waiting to read the third book. These are good stories for kids who like science and a fun story at the same time.

Get one for you, one for your kids, one for your neighbor's kids, one for the library, one for your boss, and one to leave on a park bench or subway car for a random stranger. Everyone should read this book! I now understand physics! If this series had been published when I was a schoolgirl, I would have invented the Mars rover myself. When my niece read it, she decided to aim for the stars. She's nine and wants to be an astronaut. Stannard really does explain relativity and quantum mechanics so clearly that a nine year old schoolgirl and a 41 year old lawyer can understand it. Read this book. Then it will all make sense. We are made of the same things the stars are made of. We are star stuff.
