The book had quite a bit of darkroom technique, which I should have expected in an older book, but did not need. I was hoping for more photography technique, but was still worth the buy.

Very Clear
Well written text on beginning B/W photography with lots of basics explained very thoroughly.
If copies are available, this is book is very instructive.
We are using old copies of this book for a beginning photo class...what a shame it is no longer in print.
