I love Jawanza Kunjufu as an author, but slightly disappointed in this book. He is the type of person that can cover a lot of info in a short amount of pages, but I wish that this book was longer. He covers alot of things like studying, dating, the Greek life, etc. but I had a feeling that this was targeted mostly towards males. He has written many books for young Black men, so I think that this is most appropriate for them. I wish he had covered more topics or had gone in depth with certain topics. I would like to see him come out with another edition of this book that is longer and more detailed. I would still recommend this book for a blunt, yet inspiring read. However, I believe that he has written much better work.
