The main reasons to acquire this CD are the Whiteman selections, which include "Changes," "San," "There Ain't No Sweet Man," "Dardanella," "From Monday On" and "You Took Advantage of Me." Bing Crosby and the Rhythm Boys have a few notable vocals, and C-melody saxophonist Frankie Trumbauer is heard from. Overall, this is a fine introduction to Bix's Whiteman days.
