The first edition of this work. In full cloth bindings with gilt stamping to the spine and front boards. Externally, generally smart with bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Prior owner's inscription to the recto of front endpapers. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned. Light scattered spotting to the plates and the odd spots throughout. Very Good Indeed.
