They are all overjoyed and thankful.After hearing about their mission, Binky's mom suggests that they all help her friend, the poor giraffe, George, who has recently lost his sight. The bears work together to help George find food and become more comfortable with his blindness. While they are directing George towards tasty leaves high up in a tree, they notice a man in a brown robe, with what seems like a halo above his head, sitting on a branch near George. The man makes some movements and suddenly George shouts out to them all: I can see! Again, the bears rejoice, and realize they have witnessed a miracle by St. Francis of Assisi himself.
