My BF loaned me his copy of this book since he liked it so much. I found it to be very enjoyable until I got to the last couple of chapters, which were a disappointing read. Granted, this is the story of a real person with real adventures, but the end of the story was pretty shabby. I bought a new copy of the book for him since I accidentally tore the back cover of his copy and he's a stickler for book maintenance. :-)

Jamie Zeppa takes you on her journey:
Jamie Zeppa has a way of writing which takes you along with her. One can feel her culture shock, and agree heartily when you think she should change her mind and go back home. But along with her you fall in love with Bhutan. It's a book you'll want to read again... especially if you like to travel, but don't want to have to put up with the packing and waiting at airline terminals. Maryjo
