With publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work. Herman Ould was an English author, dramatist, poet and critic, perhaps best known for his historical dramatisation of Christopher Columbus; Discovery. The play was first produced at the Vaudeville Theatre on the 23rd October 1913 and is based over the course of a summer in South London. In the original red cloth binding with gilt detail to the lower extremity of the front board. Externally in excellent condition with just minor bumping to the extremities and the head and tail of the spine. Slight fading to the spine and extremities. Offsetting to endpapers. Signed by the author to the front free endpaper. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with just minor age toning due to paper used. Very Good Indeed.
