This was a Christian thriller, set in Guatemala. It has conspiracies, murder, drug trafficking, betrrayals, and romance. It's a complex story and it is so well researched that the author was questioned to see if she had classified information. It's a mystery and adventure, and it moves along quickly. All the loose ends are tied up and I was quite pleased with myself for guessing correctly who the bad guy would be. In this story, there are two sisters, one is a tree-hugger (an environmentalist and animal lover). Her sister is a people- hugger (anyone associated with humanitarian, aid or missions organizations). Many of the ex-pats in Central America fall into one of those categories.
