Things never heard about. Insights that seem to be from a best friend. A person I wish I could meet.

Pertinent to the subject.
No one today does it better than Isaacson.
This is an insightful treament of a seminal
figure in American history, adding more
specific detail as well as evaluative
interpretation which extends beyond the
material touched upon by other writers.
Having assisted another author treating
the subject of Franklin, I can appreciate
the scholarship reflected in Isaacson's
analysis of the great man's life and
contribution to the history of the country.
