Useful for beginning students
The book provides a clear and easy to follow guide to to all theories from stylistics to deconstruction. It also encourages readers to questions some of the assumptions of theory thereby making it more accessible and less intimidating. Students beginning to make a foray into the literary theory jungle will find this book a comforting companion.
