Good. Engravings; Large 8vo 9"-10" tall; 612 pages; HC in original green cloth. 1st edition. Soundly bound but with tender hinges. Green cloth with gilt pictorial spine panel is rubbed and stresses at spine ends; a vertaical tear along the lower spine edge appears to have been remedied with a careful application of binder's glue. Mild splotch evidence of silverfishing to cloth boards. Light to moderate soiling to endpages, a mild damp line along the top edge of engrave plates in the first half of the book and some light foxing to the plates and facing pages. Scattered mild soiling in the text; a few signatures starting slightly at front edge. Worn but still sound and decent. Good....Oversize book may require additional charges for expedited or international shipping.
