There are some nice themes in the movie, if not hurting insects is something you want to teach your kids. But overall, i didn't find this movie all that entertaining. Definitely not as funny as i would have expected - and I'm a big Seinfeld fan. However, i am an adult and prefer movies like Shrek that have some great adult humor, as well as entainment for kids. HOWEVER, my 5 and 6 year old niece and nephew loved it. This was one of their favorite DVDs this year and the animation keeps them mesmerized.

'Bee Movie'
I saw a few interviews with Jerry Seinfeld (who i usually quite like), who seemed really pleased with his new movie. however, when i saw it, it wasn't as funny as i thought it would be. it had the makings of a perfectly good comedy film, but it seemed as if the writers had started with a few good gags, and then forgot to write any more when they got to the bits which weren't written to fit a joke in. i think that it started out really quite well, but it got a bit boring as it went on, and did tend to drag on a bit in places. usually, i'm quite a fan of childish things, but this one wasn't as good as i thought it might be, especially as it had such a good cast who seemed to enjoy being a part as it as much as the crew of this film.
