Exciting directions in contemporary chamber music
I ordered this collection because of Michael Daugherty's chamber suite "Spaghetti Western," which dares to bring the tonalities of spaghetti western music to the contemporary chamber ensemble. I enjoyed it a great deal, and also found the Bassett and Bolcom compositions exciting and enjoyable.
