Compiled Equations
This is a terrific resource that is getting harder to find. Be aware of what it is though: A collection of governing equations. This text more than others in the Schaum's series cuts out much of the explanation and examples so don't think you'll learn all the physics involved in deriving or solving the equations. If you don't want to weed through piles of text books trying to find the exact equations for your particular problem, then this is the perfect resource. I can speak to the fluid dynamics equations more than the rest of the text. In those sections, nearly every useful form of the equation is given in both vector and component form. Assumptions are clearly identified so there is no confusion. If you're an undergrad or first year grad student, you're probably not ready for this because the physics behind the math might not have sunk in yet. However, if you're comfortable with the physics and need a reliable source for fundamental research, then this is a "must have."
