Gideon Freudman plays cello as his main instrument, but he plays most of the other instrumental parts on this CD. He also writes the songs which can be described as sounding like an acoustic Squeeze record. The lyrics are smart-alecky and the rhythms percolate. While the production is not particularly polished, the sound is full. Banking Left is not a casual listening album. For people that enjoy quirky music for its sense of fun, this is a fine record. ~ Richard Meyer, Rovi
