In order to render access to entries of all languages, index volumes for Manju, Tibetan (only romanized Tibetan script, not the Manju transliteration and transcription systems), Mongolian, Turki (here also only for romanized Arab script, not for the pronunciation hints in Manju) and Chinese (by character component) are offered, which allows looking up all word components even of complex entries regardless of the position of the keyword in the entry. All orthographical variants of the Peking reprint based on the Chonghuagong manuscript are rendered carefully and can be found in these indices, notably all variants of Chinese characters while attempting to cover these variants as completely as possible. German description: Aufgrund der Anordnung seiner Eintrage nach Sachgebieten entzieht sich das "Auf kaiserlichen Befehl erstellte Worterbuch des Manjurischen in funf Sprachen" (Funfsprachenspiegel) einer direkten Nutzung als Nachschlagewerk fur unbekannte Wortformen. Eine wie auch immer strukturierte alphabetische Anordnung des Worterbuches hatte immer nur eine der funf Sprachen berucksichtigen konnen. Um die Eintrage aller Sprachen nachschlagbar zu machen, wurden fur Manjurisch, Tibetisch (in Romanisierung der tibetischen Schrift, nicht aber fur die manjurischen Umschriftsysteme), Mongolisch, Turki (auch hier fur die Romanisierung der arabischen Schrift, nicht aber fur die Ausspracheangaben in manjurischer Schrift) und Chinesisch (hier graphematisch geordnet) Indices erstellt, die es im Gegensatz zu fruheren Werken erstmals erlauben, alle Wortbestandteile auch komplexer Komposita einzeln nachzuschlagen, unabhangig von ihrer Position im Eintrag. Daruber hinaus lassen sich auch alle Schreibvarianten des Pekinger Nachdrucks, der auf dem Chonghuagong-Manuskript basiert, nachschlagen. Insbesondere bedeutet dies den versucht luckenlosen Nachweis auch aller Varianten chinesischer Schriftzeichen.
