Paying less than $3.00 for this, I expected a mis-used book in tatters. What a pleasant surprise. The atlas is in mint condition, used only "in-house" at a school library. I realized why the postage was costly when I first held it. Huge and heavy. The maps are detailed and large, and the book contains many pages of world facts. Highly recommended.

Excellent European Atlas
The atlas was written by europeans and does not give good inofrmation on the individual USA states. For the rest of the world it is very good.

What a Bargain
I bought a used library copy of this atlas and it is great. It is one of those huge books in the reference section of the library. It had maps of every thing imaginable. We love to travel and this is a great resource to have at home to chart our travels. The packaging was damaged during shipping so it took a really long time to arrive. It's a really heavy book and it was shipped in a thin cardboard envelope, but the book was unharmed.
