I bought this book to learn about paintings, art fraud and to solve a mystery.
I was curious what forgers can do, how they copy famous paintings. I guess in the real world they leave harder to find clues or maybe none, but after all this is a game.
In the movie "The Thomas Crown Affair" I've learned how proud the forgers can be by creating a reproduction of an original painting, which only can be identified by art fraud specialists.
This game is very exciting.While you are learning about various artists, also can have fun finding the clues on the fraudulent copies by comparing to the originals.
Catching the "gang" members also fun for you and your child.
I recommend this book to all ages. With an adult's help it will become a great game even for younger kids.. As a parent, after all you are the one, who should decide what is your child best interest.
