I first took borrowed this book from my local library in the goal of learning more about one specific medium. It was so rich in information and so well explained that I just had to buy it, as I could keep the library one forever!
I do not use the 3 kinds of mediums showed in the book, but any technique shown in this book can help you understand more about colours, effects, material to use, etc. I refer to it regularly to find ideas for effects and textures, or remind me colours mixes, etc.
