The Petri Net conferences serve as annual meeting places to discuss the progress in the ?eld of Petri nets and related models of conc- rency. They provide a forum for researchers to present and discuss both app- cations and theoretical developments in this area. Novel tools and substantial enhancements to existing tools can also be presented. The satellite program of the conference comprised ?ve workshops and three tutorials. This year, the c- ference was co-located with the 10th International Conference on Application of Concurrency to System Design (ACSD 2010). The two conferences shared ?ve invited speakers. The PETRI NETS 2010 conference was organized by the Universidade du Minho and the Instituto Polytecnico de Beja. It took place in Braga, Portugal during June 21-25, 2010.
