Will Cook returns to his love of the cavalry story with this excellent book of Indian warfare in the great Southwest. Lieutenant Timothy O'Hagen is faced with discovering who stirred up the Apaches to this latest violence against the whites, and somehow stopping it before it got even worse. The writing of this tome shows the time and effort Mr. Cook took to make this book as historical and real as it could possibly be. No one writes a better cavalry story than him.
