The anti-folk scene has been alive and well for some time now, in all its ironic glory, in Lower Manhattan. So it's only fitting that it finally be represented by a compilation. And it's only fitting that resident kingpins the Moldy Peaches -- Adam Green and Kimya Dawson (she of the bunny suit and potty mouth) -- compile the album. Green and Dawson contribute a solo track each; overall, however, they leave the spotlight to lesser-known colleagues, such as Jeffrey Lewis ("You Don't Have to Be a Scientist to Do Experiments on Your Own Heart"), Diane Cluck ("Monte Carlo"), Jim Flynn ("Smokescreen a Cappella Techno Blues"), Lach ("Drinking Beers With Mom"), and Paleface ("Say What You Want").
