The present investigations were intended to evaluate the antidiabetic potential of three members (Euphorbia prostrata, Euphorbia hirta, Euphorbia helioscopia) of family Euphorbiaceae of Lahore region and antifungal potential of nine members of family Euphorbiaceae (Euphorbia prostrata, Euphorbia splendens, Euphorbia hirta, E. helioscopia, Ricinus communis, Jatropha integerrima, Putranjiva roxburghii Phyllanthus emblica and Croton tiglium). Antidiabetic investigations showed that the methanolic extract of E. prostrata and E. hirta showed excellent activity as compared to commercially available drug so in future they can be used for the treatment of diabetes while the third plant E.helioscopia enhanced the blood glucose level so it can be recommended to the patients of Hypoglycemia after frther toxicologically studies. Antifungal results showed that methanolic extracts of E.helioscopia (250 ???g/ml) were very effective against Aspergilus niger while E. prostrata (250 ???g/ml) showed maximum activity against Rhizopus oryza while Alternaria solani give exhibited no activity against any plant extract.
