This book is a fairly good antenna handbook, if the reader already has a strong background in the subject. Like most modern handbooks, it lacks the detail and clear exposition of the simplifying assumptions made to arrive at general results.
This book is a good starting point, and contains an excellent list of references. This book should not be used for design and test of antennas without thoroughly reviewing the references.
This book is ideal for the non-specialist seeking an overview.
