The book will throw light upon the character of the Wesleys, the times in which they lived, and the hardships, trials, and triumphs which attended them through an entire century. All who hold the memory of one of the best families of England in loving respect will find in "Anecdotes of the Wesleys," find this book a great favorite with them, and addition to their library which will be referred to again, and again. The repertory of facts and incidents are often amusing, but always edifying. The is a good source of information for lay-preachers, preachers, or indeed anyone wishing to know this family better.
