I would like also to express to my friend Mr. Hallett Hyatt my thanks for the care with which he has photographed the numerous miniatures which I have entrusted to him, and for the close and constant attention which he has given to the work of the artists who have carried out so well our instructions as to the colouring of the facsimile plates.
