Avant folk songwriter Josephine Foster took a brief detour from her own ghostly compositions when she recorded a few albums with the Victor Herrero Band. Anda Jaleo, the first of these albums, was recorded mostly live in the studio and features Foster singing songs from poet Federico Garcia Lorca's 1931 collection of mysteriously beautiful flamenco tunes Las Canciones Populares Espanolas.
