I have hunted this book for 30 years and finally found it. This book covers all type of designs from different areas of the middle east, covering prayer rugs and other styles. The designs that are adapted from these motifs are for all sorts of needlepoint designs including pillow tops. They also work really well for doing latch hook and punch rugs too. Have made 6 latch hook rugs so far and will actually do needlepoint designs as well. If you like to design your own finished items this is a perfect book to have and I will be getting a second one so that in case of accident I will never be without one.
