Outstanding Luiseno Language Primer
The book is excellent for the beginning and intermediate Luiseno speaker. It is focused on the fundamentals of the language, provides words, phrases and elementary dialog with increasing complexity and depth as the reader progresses through the chapters.
One hallmark of the book is it sets aside linguistic jargon and is clearly written for someone sincerely exploring the Luiseno language.
I am currently using it as a reference for a Native American Language class at the University. It is a good book, thoroughly enjoyed and it will remain nearby for easy reference long after this class is complete..
