I have now read every available book by Beryl Matthews and rate her 'the best'. Unlike the
majority of authors, the paragraphs are not too long so its easy to put the book down and restart at a new one. The story lines are not complicated and not too many characters to get your head round.
Her book, 'Battles lost and won' is the best one I've ever read of any author.
