This Wind Instruments volume brings to my mind sonorous things like oboes. Actually, this is mostly high-pitched flute played brightly with quick, successive notes. It sounds to me like bright red and yellow birds jumping off a rice paper painting. Perhaps as a result, my favorite piece is the most simple, "Morning In Miao Mountain."
