To perform our own study that would produce meaningful information concerning both married and single enlisted men in the Army. Our first thought was to produce a test that would evaluate the attitudes of soldiers in five areas: (1) sex and dating. (2) Religion. (3) outside influences such as drugs. (4) relationship and attitude toward parents. And (5) attitude toward the army. Once these categories were established. It was decided that the test would be construo ted of statements in each of these categories which the individual soldier had to evaluate on a scale running from strongly agree to strongly disagree.
