For about five years my young granddaughter has been collecting small quilts (crib size) and I have been sending her one each birthday. She is a young artist and loves the colors, textures, and patterns. This wonderful book enabled her to identify many of the patterns and begin to think about quilting as an historical and contemporary artform.
