From Wikipedia: "Irving Saul Shapiro (July 15, 1916-September 13, 2001) was an American lawyer and businessman, best known for being the first lawyer, and the first person outside the Dupont family, to become CEO of DuPont. Shapiro served as DuPont chairman from December 1973 to 1981. In 1987, he took over leadership of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Shapiro was the son of Lithuanian Jewish immigrants. His father was a dry cleaner and tailor. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School." Additionally, Mr. Shapiro has experience during World War II in the Office of Price Administraion and at the Department of Justice. Mr. Kaufmann was associated with the Public Affairs department of Du Pont and previously had been a journalist and magazine writer.

Lurie (1931-2017), 1p, 8½" X 11", New York, NY, 1 June 1984. On letterhead of "The Business Roundtable" of which he was long president, Lurie sends this book to Roundtable member Malott. Robert Malott (1926-2018) was a noted Chicago civic/business leader, CEO of FMC Corporation, Republican politico and philanthropist.
