Excellent Primer
This book provides a solid basic understanding of prostate disease and the various treatments of the cancer. Knowledge is power and this book would be a good resource for anyone seeking authoritative and relatively current information. It should be understood that medical science in this area is ceveloping so quickly that it is impossible for the literature to keep up. I was informed by a doctor friend that books are generally 2 to 3 years behind and even medical journals can be 6 months or more behind.
By way of example, this book discusses two seed alternatives, iodine and paladium, and the characteristics of each.. There is no mention of Cesium 131, the seeds currently preferred. Still, the information in this book can provide an excellent basic understanding of the subject.
