Hardcover binding with minor soiling and shelfwear, with top of spine torn away from binding but still attached. Unclipped dustjacket with a few small chips, several tears and creases, and moderate browning and soiling; protected in archival mylar. A few pages with a few minor stains to extremities, and one spot of staining to top of closed page edges. Signed and inscribed by the author on the front endpaper to Robert Joffrey "For Bob with affection Joe Aug 1972." This book was acquired from Joffrey's library.
