Then the people embarked in clamshells, but they would just whirl around. (It was a) long time before they finally got across. Then the chase was commenced by all. (But they could) not (do) anything. When those who participated in the chase came (to the edge of the sky), they (found that) they could not do anything; (for) they had no ways of going down. Then when they two came back to where they two had climbed up they (first) took off one arrow. At last they two came back with (the head of their father). And now they danced the war dance. Then they began to fix their (dual) father. They two tied his head with the bark of cedar. And they two also glued his head on with clay. "Keep on shaking thy head, now!" Verily, he now (did it).
