Kids love this book! They immediately make a connection with the mascots and their respective letters, asking questions about the various sports and "Olympics" featured. This is such a clever idea that really holds the easily-distracted attentions of young readers! I witnessed a couple classroom readings with Kindergarten-aged children and we could barely keep the questions at bay for each letter/page. It was so refreshing to see children actively participating in a book-reading and being genuinely interested. This is definitely a book I'd send highly-recommended to anyone with Elementary-aged kids. Personally, I love using this as a gift idea for friends' children anytime I have the chance.
I've also seen some amazing classroom application from some inspired teachers, making various group activities for their class kids. It can be so incredibly useful
