This journal is for everyone! It's designed to bring back your own joy YOU are creating in your life. I suggest starting your day with it, along with your favorite pens. At 45 years old I wanted to make a big change, I've lived my life thus far trying to overcome the challenges I've had with the objective of not being a victim. However, I realize the year after year, decade after decade, it was still all consuming. That's not the way I want to face 50, or 60, or beyond. I started to dig deep at my birthday and really search for ways that I could finally overcome this. The best advice came to me from a mentor as he recommended to read "The Miracle Equation" By Hal Elrod. I took it on a camping trip with an open heart and the idea of allowing myself to finally move on. I can honestly say that this book changed my life! On a personal level, I learn to let go of the pain and hold onto the memories that count. I realized and accepted I "can't change it". Pain that I have carried every year in my life in regards to my family, finally subsided. And more importantly, his book helped me realize all the miracles that have happened in my life, not that I've been not acknowledging them in the past, but it put things in a new perspective. And as I moved on from book to book, podcast to podcast, YouTube videos, Ted talks, I realize one thing always ring true to me; there is so much that we each have going right for us. And those things need to be acknowledged. I've written them down, and I've reread them over and over again, and it works. I am looking forward with all my past experiences to fuel me. I hope this guided journal can help you too. I don't have a degree in psychology, but I have 45 years of life that has given me first hand experience. I've carried emotional pain for decades and can confidently say that I'm coming out on the other side. My adversities will serve me going forward. And filling out this journal, I realize the formula that brings me happiness. By writing down the parts of your life that make you happy, that you're proud of, your successes, you can track your progress and look forward to a new destination. You can reference those things that you need time to remember how to get back on track for what matters most.
