This is one of the better books I've read about Alaska, both as a hunter and fisherman and as someone who loves the history of the state. It is less about big fish or big animals than personalities, and I like pictures in each chapter about that person rather than a batch in the middle as in some books. It held my interest from beginning to end, so definitely recommend it.
