When it was finished he said, That's what I want - that's just like me. Perhaps the thing AI believes most Strongly is that he is no different from any other young American in uni form. He expects no special credit or sympathy for what he did, and he feels no bitterness over his personal tough luck. At the present time he is not blind, but there is less than 5 per cent of normal vision in his one remaining eye. The doctors believe there is a chance that this may improve slightly.
