Foreword by Charles S. Peterson. This work was the cowinner of the Utah Centennial Prize for 1986-87.
Helen Papanikolas has combined thorough research, personal insight and rich writing skills to tell the story of her parents who immigrated from Greece to Utah. This reads like a novel in many ways. I read it years ago and thought it was lost. It was recently returned to me by a friend to whom I had loaned it and forgotten.
I highly recommend it for pure pleasure AND for inspiration in writing one's own family history.
